One of my favorite albums from Radiohead, i remember very well the release of this album because they sold it online and the price was not defined so you could pay what you wanted. Released independently on 2007 after the break of their contract with EMI, it was a two years process. “BodySnatchers” is a song that you should use when you are in the rush at the morning, it is perfect for that! “Nude” makes me wanna cry, don’t listen it when you are sad. The most incredible track that i ever heard: “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” given the ethereal guitar riff, the voice of Thom Yorke, the “in crescendo” of the chords that put up you in the sky and that lets you levitate for minutes, submerged in the deep of your thoughts, and suddenly breaks your peace with the weird sound of the synth and the voice of Yorke that tells you “Scape, Scape” and make you fall to the earth again. Faust Arp sounds like one of your friends is next to you using it and singing for you. Reckoner is another great song for me, the use of the piano and the voice of Yorke is really great here, the way that the band builds up the tension and use violins really demonstrates the quality of their sound. Finally “Jigsaw Falling into Place” is the most indie side with lyrics that inspired me to write a love letter. This album is one of the best works that they have, you should listen to it, i mean it.
